Process View

The process view shows the current values of one emission source on a diagram of the equipment. You can see how the equipment operates now.

What you see

Each emission source, for example an engine, a flare or a boiler, uses a process view template. The template shows a diagram of the equipment. The values show at the applicable positions on the diagram, for example the exhaust temperature near the stack outlet.

The layout and the values depend on the configuration of the emission source. If you expect a measurement that does not show, speak to your system administrator.

Updates

The values on the process view update every 30 seconds. You do not need to refresh the page.

If a value stops updating, look at the data quality of that value. A communication loss or a sensor fault can be the cause. These conditions also show as alarms.

Component types

A process view template can contain these component types:

  • Regular Component: a list of tags with their current values and units.
  • Gauge: a gauge for one measurement. When the gauge has an emission limit, the gauge shows a marker at the limit. The needle changes to red when the value is more than the limit.

Tabs

The page has three tabs:

  • Process View: the equipment diagram with the current values.
  • Compliance: the compliance status and uncertainty of the emission source. Click Download Report to download the model report.
  • Events: the open alarms of this emission source. Click View all in Alarm Manager to open the Alarms page, filtered to this emission source.

The page header has these controls:

  • The source picker. Use it to select a different emission source. The page then shows the layout and values of that source.
  • Reports: opens the Reports page for this emission source.
  • An information panel with the details of the emission source. If your role can edit the source, the panel has a link to the edit page.
  • Bookmark: saves this process view to your bookmarks.
